The WisBlock RAK3312 ESP32-S3 EU868 LoRaWAN Module combines LoRa, 2.4GHz Wi-Fi and Bluetooth Low Energy 5.0 in a compact WisBlock Core module.
Built around the Espressif ESP32-S3 dual-core processor and Semtech SX1262 LoRa transceiver, it provides 16MB Flash and 8MB PSRAM for custom applications combining wireless connectivity, sensor processing and local device functions.
Use LoRaWAN for communication through a compatible gateway, Wi-Fi for local network connectivity and BLE for nearby devices. How these connections operate together depends on your application firmware.
The RAK3312 is supplied without default application firmware. Develop your application using Arduino IDE with the Espressif ESP32 board package, PlatformIO following RAK’s setup guide, or ESP-IDF.
A compatible WisBlock Base Board is required. Add sensors, interfaces and displays to build a device suited to your project, with battery and solar power options available through compatible base boards.
LoRa and Wi-Fi/BLE antennas with MHF-4 connectors are included.
