The WisBlock 6-Axis Accelerometer Sensor – RAK12033 extends the WisBlock ecosystem with accurate motion, orientation and tilt sensing using the TDK InvenSense IIM-42652 sensor. It combines a 3-axis accelerometer and 3-axis gyroscope in a compact, low-power module suitable for embedded and battery-powered designs.
Both acceleration and angular-rate ranges are fully programmable, allowing the module to be tuned for applications ranging from gentle motion detection to fast-moving mechanical systems. This flexibility makes the RAK12033 well suited to navigation, stabilisation and robotics use cases.
When paired with a WisBlock Core module, the RAK12033 forms a complete motion-sensing system capable of transmitting data via LoRaWAN®, LoRa point-to-point, BLE or Wi-Fi, depending on the selected Core. Its low power consumption and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for both indoor and outdoor deployments.
