The RAK12014 Time of Flight (ToF) Sensor is a compact distance-measurement module built around the STMicroelectronics VL53L0X chip. It measures absolute range up to 1.5 metres, providing reliable, low-latency distance data for automation, robotics and smart-device applications.
Designed for low-power WisBlock systems, the RAK12014 communicates via I²C and includes support for interrupts, enabling efficient event-driven operation. Its small 10 × 10 mm footprint makes it suitable for embedded designs where space is limited.
📍 Note: This module is designed for indoor or controlled-environment measurements. Optical Time-of-Flight sensors perform most consistently with clear line-of-sight and stable ambient lighting.
