The WisBlock Sensor Adapter – RAK1920 extends the WisBlock system by providing a flexible interface for popular sensor ecosystems from MikroElektronika (Click!), SparkFun (QWIIC) and Seeed Studio (Grove). It allows off-the-shelf sensor breakouts to be used directly within WisBlock builds, reducing development time and simplifying prototyping.
The board features one Click! slot, one QWIIC connector, and two Grove connectors, supporting I²C, digital IO, UART and analogue sensors depending on connector type. When combined with a WisBlock Core such as the RAK4631, sensor data can be transmitted using LoRaWAN®, LoRa point-to-point or BLE, depending on the selected Core.
Designed for low-power operation, the RAK1920 supports full module power-down through the WisBlock system, making it suitable for battery-powered testing rigs and temporary sensor deployments.
📍 Note: Only 3.3 V QWIIC modules are supported. Grove connector usage depends on sensor interface type.
