UK IoT SIM Data Charges
There are no fixed monthly data bundles. You pay according to the data your device actually uses.
Zone A data on Vodafone and O2 UK costs £0.003 per MB (£3.00 per GB). Zone B data on EE and Three UK costs £0.00386 per MB (£3.86 per GB). Zone A+B has an additional £0.15 monthly access charge per SIM while enabled.
How Much Data Does an IoT Device Use?
IoT data usage can be very different from the gigabytes of data commonly associated with smartphones.
Many sensors and monitoring devices transmit only small amounts of information at regular intervals, so their usage may be measured in megabytes rather than gigabytes. Devices transmitting more frequently, sending larger amounts of data or providing internet connectivity for other equipment can use considerably more.
With SIMGubbins pay-as-you-use pricing, you pay for the data your device actually uses rather than purchasing a fixed monthly data allowance.

Each SIMGubbins IoT SIM – UK plan includes a multi-format SIM card and access to the SIMGubbins UK connectivity service. A £6.50 one-off setup fee applies when the plan is first purchased.
Data usage and any applicable Zone A+B monthly access charges are billed separately.
With no fixed monthly data allowance, SIMGubbins is particularly suitable for low-data IoT applications, seasonal deployments and projects where usage varies throughout the year.
For example, a remote environmental sensor may transmit only a few megabytes per month, while seasonal monitoring equipment may only be active during part of the year. With pay-as-you-use pricing, data costs reflect actual usage rather than a fixed monthly allowance.
Automatic Multi-Network Connectivity
The SIM can automatically switch between available networks included in your selected connectivity option, helping maintain connectivity where coverage from one network is weak or unavailable.
Where supported by the connected device, network selection can also be controlled directly by the device.
