The WisBlock Dual IO Base Board – RAK19001 expands the WisBlock ecosystem for applications that require more modules, more connectivity and greater power flexibility. It provides two dedicated IO slots for larger interface modules and six sensor slots (A–F) for sensors, GNSS modules and similar WisBlock components.
All key GPIO pins from the WisBlock Core are exposed via solder pads and headers, making it easy to integrate third-party peripherals alongside WisBlock modules. Access to I²C, SPI, UART and USB buses allows advanced interfacing without compromising signal integrity.
Power flexibility is a core strength of the RAK19001. It supports USB-C power, solar input, rechargeable Li-ion/LiPo batteries, and non-rechargeable battery packs, with a slide switch to select battery type. Power to connected WisBlock modules can be controlled by the Core to reduce consumption in low-power deployments.
