The WisBlock Ambient Light Sensor – RAK1903 is a compact, low-power module based on the Texas Instruments OPT3001, designed to deliver accurate ambient light measurement from 0.01 lux to 83,865 lux. Its optical filtering closely matches the human eye, making it ideal for real-world illumination sensing indoors or outdoors.
When paired with a WisBlock Core (e.g., RAK4631), it becomes a complete IoT-ready light measurement system capable of transmitting data using LoRaWAN®, LoRa P2P (Point-to-Point) or BLE. Ultra-low power operation and WisBlock power-down control make it suitable for battery-powered or long-life solar deployments.
📍 Note: This sensor is part of the WisBlock Sensor category and requires a WisBlock Base Board for operation.
