The WisBlock Flex Sensor Module – RAK12016 is based on the Spectrasymbol FS-L-0095-103-ST flex sensor and measures bending or flexing by detecting changes in resistance.

The module includes an onboard ADC converter, allowing the bending data to be read directly over I²C, eliminating the need to use an analog input.

This sensor is ideal for:

  • Human–Machine Interfaces: Attach to a finger to create gesture controls

  • Industrial Safety Systems: Detect machine bending under stress

  • Wearable Technology: Monitor motion and movement

  • Robotics Applications: Capture joint angles and positions

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Spectrasymbol FS-L-0095-103-ST Sensor: Proven, reliable flex sensing

  • Direct I²C Output: No need for analog inputs

  • Compact WisBlock Form Factor: Easy integration

  • Multiple Applications: Wearables, HMIs, stress detection, robotics

  • Low Power Consumption: Suitable for battery-operated devices

Perfect for developers building motion interfaces, gesture controls, or mechanical stress monitoring systems.
