The WisGate Edge Pro – RAK7289CV2 is a high-performance 16-channel outdoor LoRaWAN® gateway built for professional and industrial IoT networks. Powered by the Semtech SX1303 LoRa® core, it supports high packet throughput and long-range communication across large, distributed sensor networks.
 
Its IP67 / NEMA-6 enclosure, integrated surge protection, and wide operating temperature range make it suitable for permanent outdoor installation in agriculture, utilities, smart cities and industrial sites. Multiple backhaul options — Ethernet, WiFi and LTE (Cat-4) — ensure resilient connectivity even in remote or infrastructure-limited locations.
 
The gateway runs WisGateOS 2, providing a modern WebUI, remote management via WisDM, and support for ChirpStack, TTN/TTS, Actility and other LNS platforms using Basics Station or packet forwarders. Advanced features such as frame filtering, buffering during network outages, and optional fine timestamping improve reliability and data integrity in production networks.
 
📍 Note: This gateway must be powered via PoE (802.3af) or a regulated 12 V DC input. Direct connection to solar chargers is not supported and may cause damage. For solar or off-grid deployments, use the RAK Battery Plus system.
