The RAK7391 CM4 LoRaWAN Gateway is a powerful and highly expandable 8-channel EU868 LoRaWAN gateway and edge computing platform, built around the RAK7391 carrier board and Raspberry Pi Compute Module 4.
This configuration includes a CM4 with 4GB RAM, 32GB eMMC and Wi-Fi, together with 8-channel LoRaWAN connectivity and an aluminium enclosure.
Unlike a conventional fixed-function LoRaWAN gateway, the RAK7391 provides extensive expansion capabilities for building customised IoT and edge systems. Its interfaces include dual Ethernet, USB, HDMI, mPCIe, M.2 and WisBlock IO, allowing additional networking, storage, radio and industrial interfaces to be incorporated into the system.
The RAK7391 is the core hardware platform used within RAKwireless' WisGate Connect family and supports RAKPiOS, RAKwireless' customised Raspberry Pi OS distribution with Docker support for deploying local IoT and edge applications.
