The WisBlock 4-20mA Interface Module – RAK5801 extends the WisBlock system with two current measurement inputs for reading industry-standard 4-20mA current loop sensors.

The input current is converted into a voltage that can be read by the WisBlock Core module’s analog inputs. A ready-to-use software library and tutorial make connecting and configuring sensors quick and straightforward.

In addition to supporting two 4–20mA interfaces, the RAK5801 provides a 12V power output for sensor supply and includes an I²C interface connection available on the crimping terminal.

Key Features & Benefits:

  • Two 4-20mA Sensor Inputs: Standard current-loop interface

  • 12V Power Output: Power your connected sensors directly

  • I²C Connection: Flexible additional interface

  • Ready-to-Use Library: Fast software integration

  • Low Power Consumption: Ideal for battery-powered IoT nodes

  • WisBlock Power-Down Support: Reduce energy use when inactive

When combined with the RAK4631 WisBlock Core, this module becomes the bridge between industrial sensors/actuators and LoRaWAN®, BLE, or P2P communication, enabling remote monitoring and control.
