The WisGate Edge Pro RAK7289CV2 is an 8-channel outdoor LoRaWAN gateway with LTE, Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity.

Its IP67 / NEMA-6 enclosure, SX1303 LoRa concentrator, flexible power options and remote management capabilities make it well suited to permanent outdoor and remote IoT deployments.

This listing is specifically for the 8-channel EU868 RAK7289CV2 WisGate Edge Pro with LTE.

For UK LoRaWAN deployments, use the EU868 frequency plan.

A LoRa antenna is not included. This 8-channel gateway requires one compatible external LoRa antenna (see USED WITH section).

The RAK7289CV2 supports LTE connectivity. A suitable SIM and cellular service are required if you intend to use LTE backhaul. If you choose a SIMGubbins plan, we can install the included SIM and test the cellular connection before dispatch when purchased with our Gateway Configuration Service.

Do not connect a solar charger directly to the gateway. RAK warns that direct use of solar chargers can cause over-voltage damage and void the warranty.

For supported solar or off-grid operation, the RAK7289CV2 can be used with RAK Battery Plus, which provides the appropriate power-management system between the solar supply and gateway.

Orders placed before 2pm Monday–Friday are normally dispatched the same day, and we can often dispatch later orders the same day where possible.

We endeavour to dispatch Saturday morning orders where possible, although Royal Mail collections take place early.
