The WisBlock RAK3401 BLE Core Module is built around the Nordic nRF52840 MCU, delivering reliable Bluetooth Low Energy connectivity for low-power IoT applications.
Designed as a BLE-focused alternative to the RAK4631, this module removes LoRa capability to reduce power consumption and system complexity, making it ideal for battery- and solar-powered deployments.
With its temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TCXO), the RAK3401 provides stable timing for consistent wireless communication and sensor data handling. It supports a wide range of interfaces including UART, I2C, SPI, ADC, USB, and GPIO, enabling seamless integration with WisBlock sensor, power, and interface modules.
For applications requiring long-range communication, the RAK3401 can be paired with external LoRa transceiver modules such as the RAK13302, enabling hybrid BLE + LoRa architectures within the same modular system.
