The WisBlock LPWAN Module RUI3 EU868 – RAK4631-R is the latest WisBlock Core module, combining the Nordic nRF52840 MCU with BLE 5.0 and Semtech’s SX126x LoRa® transceivers for superior long-range communication and ultra-low power consumption.
 
Compared to the older SX127x series, the SX126x transceivers offer:

Better Link Budget: up to 170 dB for extended range
 
The module includes a temperature-compensated crystal oscillator (TXCO) for reliable operation across wide temperature ranges and bandwidths. It also supports multiple communication interfaces: UART, I²C, SPI, ADC, USB, and GPIOs.
 
Combined with a WisBlock Base Board, the RAK4631-R can easily integrate with numerous WisBlock sensors and IO modules, making it the ideal solution for battery-powered or solar-powered remote IoT devices.
