The RAK5860 WisBlock NB-IoT & LTE-M Module adds cellular IoT connectivity and GNSS positioning to a WisBlock system.
Based on the Quectel BG77 modem, the RAK5860 supports LTE Cat M1 (LTE-M) and LTE Cat NB2 (NB-IoT) connectivity, making it suitable for remote monitoring, telemetry and other IoT applications requiring cellular communication.
Integrated GNSS provides GPS and GLONASS positioning for location-aware applications, while power to the module can be controlled by the WisBlock Core MCU to help reduce power consumption when cellular connectivity is not required.
The module communicates with the WisBlock Core over a serial connection and can be configured using the Quectel AT command interface.
