The Milesight TB3984 is a glass-bead thermal buffer bottle designed for use with compatible Milesight temperature probes and monitoring devices.
In refrigerators, freezers and other temperature-controlled environments, air temperature can change rapidly when a door is opened or during normal cooling cycles. These brief fluctuations may not accurately represent the temperature experienced by the products being stored.
The TB3984 surrounds the temperature probe with glass beads, providing thermal buffering that slows its response to rapid changes in surrounding air temperature. This helps the monitoring system provide a more representative indication of stored-product temperature while reducing the effect of short-lived fluctuations.
This can be particularly useful in pharmaceutical, medical, laboratory and food-storage applications where meaningful temperature monitoring is more useful than reacting to every brief change in ambient air temperature.
The bottle is designed for use with compatible Milesight TS201, TS602, TS301 and TS302 temperature monitoring systems.
