The RAKwireless Lightning Arrestor N-Type is a rugged surge protective device (SPD) designed to protect LoRa®, LTE, and Wi-Fi gateways and transceivers from voltage spikes caused by lightning or static discharge.
Operating across the 0–2700 MHz frequency range, it supports N-type male-to-female connections, ensuring minimal signal loss (≤ 0.2 dB) while maintaining reliable RF performance.
With a discharge current capacity up to 20 kA and IP67 weather protection, this arrestor is suitable for outdoor installations on gateways, base stations, and antennas.
📍 RAKwireless strongly recommends installing a lightning arrestor on all N-type antenna terminals—including LoRa®, LTE, and 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi—plus an Ethernet Port Surge Protection Device (SPD) to protect connected indoor equipment.
